RTW – My life, Abridged
Seriously abridged. Like, six words. That makes a haiku feel verbose.
But since brevity is not exactly my strong suit, I thought I would join the lovely YA Highway gang and try my hand at creating a six-word memoir. (For those of you who don’t know, every Wednesday they YA Highway blog hosts a road trip where they prompt us blogging-types with a question and we all travel around and check out other responses).
So, without further ado, the memoir:
I am now extremely tempted to use 500 words to explain it. But I’ll refrain.
This is really hard.
Anyway, what about you? How would you sum up your life in six words? Write them in the comments, or link your own blog there!
I know this is so not what I’m supposed to pay attention to, but what font is that? It’s pretty.
Jeez, not sure how to! Cooking, laughing, entertaining – reading, singing, loving. ???
I’m the worst at remembering to cherish moments.
That’s funny that you mentioned haikus, because I kept thinking I was supposed to count syllables, not words. I really like yours, and I second Kate’s request for the font’s identification. 🙂
O.k, people, the font. It’s Zapfino, which is a Mac font. And thank you for those kind comments about the words as well as the font! This was harder than it felt it should be. (And I won’t even start on the amount of time I took to debate if there should be a comma after “seeking”…)
This is lovely– I love it!
It’s a really hard assignment! Boil a life down into six words? I couldn’t do it without cheating. Love your memoir (and the font, too).
